Writing Prompts - Reconciliation Concert

SAY SOMETHING: A message from the me of today to my former, unaware, patriotic Canadian self

WARRIOR: My statement as a woman and an ally to MMIWG

WHEN THE EARTH STANDS STILL: We are choosing to offer this song as if it is a message from the earth to you, one of its people. This is the earth’s lament

THE SOUNDING SEA: This is the earth’s demand. And the end? Returning to the love the earth extends in WTESS

TO BE SUNG ON THE WATER: My statement of love and care for the water.

VOICE DANCE: Give this song a programmatic role in this narrative sequence about water.

CLOUDBURST: How can Octavio Paz’ poem (especially the last large stanza) be understood as instructional to us in our relationship with water?
